And I can tell you elctaxy what they will do on day one: Start trying to get elected to another term, begin working on their personal wealth and power (unless, of course, they're already wealthy), and inventing new ways to destroy opponents and reason.Yes, I know there are exceptions (that prove the rule), but we have made it impossible for people of any real worth to have an interest in government.Anyone reading this blog wanna drop your job/business to have some hack dig up irrelevant dirt on you from when you were 21? Count me out (and I don't believe I'm even qualified in the first place).Maybe I've given up hope, but I'm suspicious of people who are willing to do this...and really suspicious of anybody so 'perfect' that they have never done anything embarrassing - and don't care that they are about to be smeared on Fox, MSNBC, etc....If someone...anyone.... responds to my thoughts in a way that makes me feel better, I'd really appreciate it. Seriously....
