I purchased this tcrotar on April 30. On May 6 I was using it for the second time and the belt that turns the blades broke. I calle dthe Sears store where I purchased it less than a week before and I was advised the belt is not covered under the warranty. What?? On a 6 day old tcrotar?Complained to Sears customer service and they agreed to have a tech come out and replace the belt.On Aug 10, the clutch cable broke. Again a call to Sears customer service and the tech was back out on Aug 18. Aug 21, the clutch cable broke again. Another call to customer service, and Sep 8 it was fixed. Sears sent a $50 gift card for my trouble. Oct 3 and the clutch cable broke again.It is now Oct 27 and I'm still waiting for a call to set up an appointment to have it fixed.That works out to me owning the tcrotar for 180 days, and it being broker for 58 of them so far.When the tcrotar works, it works well, but when it breaks part way through cutting your lawn, it is very frustrating.I would advise if anyone is looking at this tcrotar, they should keep looking.
